My tall project also came out of the glaze kiln! I like the glaze on this a lot! I actually really like the splatters of yellow over the sand. I think it gives a little bit of warmth to such cool tone glazes.

Ok! So today in ceramics my wide project finally came out of the glaze kiln after many trips to the reject shelf. . . (I blame the shadow green glaze.) But anyways I love the way the glaze turned out!! this definitally one of my favorite projects!!

Ok so yesterday in ceramics I footed this project. Sadly, when I went to take it off of the wheel it was really fragile and broke:( Luckily it wasn't completely dry so i justr smoothed off the edges and made it more of a smooth break. Most likely when I glaze this I will glaze the inside one color and possibly have it drip down the front, but we will have to wait and see how the project comes out.

So this was my first attempt at taping... not too great. I taped the yellow and ended up puting the sand on too thick, so you couldn't see the detail of the stripes. This is not one of my favorite projects and I am not sure what I will use this for.

New teacup! YAY! I was super excited with how the glaze turned out! I glazed this dark blue on the outside, and dark blue with turquoise underneath on the inside and it gave it a really cool paint splattered look! I really like this cup a lot.

Ok, so on friday! this bowl I had been working on all week came out of the glaze kiln! I love the way the glazes turned out (This was my second attempt at taping for the year! First atempt did not turn out well...)  Anyways I got really lucky the glaze didn't drip any farther than it did, or else I would have been in trouble with Ms. Heids! I love the way the glaze turned out and I will probably try taping again soon! (Also the project looks kinda like an oval because it got dented on the bisque kiln and I tried to fix it..)

Today in cermaics was such a great day! (Besides the fact that Ms. H. was gone!) Both of my plates came out of the glaze kiln which I was very excited about! I glazed these projects with half dips of turquoise, sand, and black and I love the way they turned out! I will be giving these projects to a friend of mine for her birthday.

Today in ceramics was much more productive than the last! I managed to glaze both of my plates, (The one in the pictures is the smaller one) but I only had enough time to get pictures of this plate.. Anyways! I also threw a nice bowl which I will be footing tomorrow! (Again my apologies for lack of pictures)

Today in cermaics was a very slow day. I had some troubles on the wheel, but atleast I got a project out of the bisque, which is always exciting!
