Theme: Structure
-What did you make?
-Tall project: Color-blocked cylinder
-Wide project: Wide bowl (shadow green and white)
-Wheel Altered: Bowl with sides pinch into a square shape
-Set of 3: Two plates and a teacup
-Choice: Tall bowl (With taped glaze)
-TWO plates: Two plates (red stained for christmas and classic dipped)
-Theme choice: Heart vase (white with red underglaze)
-Lidded Project: Lidded vase with throwing marks
Multi-Wheel: Teapot with pulled handle and wheel thrown body, lid, and spout.
-How did you make it?
All of the projects I made throughout this semester were made with a similar technique. I began this semester still kind of new to the art of ceramics. I was still discovering my knitch and was still learning how to correctly perform all of the techniques.
Throughout all of this i really learned that the biggest and most important part of making a good project is definitely structure. The structure of a project is the basis and background of a solid project. The shape and structure helps to allow the project to tell the story of how it was made.
With this i made all of my projects starting with a cylinder. I then transform them into whatever i desire them to be. After this is when design and more creativity comes in. (making a lid, adding 3-dimension elements, or adding a handle.) This really goes to show that structure is the basis for all of this.

My theme this semester was clearly about stucture. I really found a way to make this the basis for all of my ceramics creations as i explored the many different techniques and new ideas that occured to me throughout the semester. I included this in my ceramics as i created solid projects and began to challenge myself with more difficult thi
